When the last weekend in November is kind enough to offer you highs in the 60s, out of doors is simply the only place to be. We continued giving thanks Friday and Saturday by soaking up every drop of sunshine while visiting the ocean in Quincy, Salem and Gloucester.

That water was just as cold as you might imagine the North Atlantic at the end of Autumn, but that didn't stop Johannes (or Sijmon) from getting right into it.

Also, you make me miss Boston - and your thrifting adventures!! I am just so jealous! I wish we lived closer and could cook and thrift and sew and craft the days away... I made my thanksgiving apple pie crust with lard and, of course, thought of you!
